I am an Alumnus of The Norfolk State University, Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, The University of Virginia, and I hold a Master’s Degree in Urban Affairs / Urban Planning. Professionally, I am a United States Army Military Intelligence Officer in the Virginia Army National Guard and employed as a government employee of the Commonwealth. I previously served as the states Resilience Program Manager for the Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security and the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, as well as, the Director of Security for St. Catherine’s School, a Criminal Analyst for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and a Military Police Officer.

I am involved in my community with affiliations to include Elizabeth Scott Elementary PTA, NAACP Chesterfield Branch, United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 31, Norfolk State University Alumni Association Central Virginia Chapter, NRA, Prince Hall F&AM Mason, Mount Gilead Full Gospel Ministries, and the Military Officers Association of America.

My family, state, district and community are all very important to me as I have taken the oath time and time again to protect them all at home and abroad, even if it costs me my life. I am a servant and I live to serve. This is the passion I bring into any and everything I dedicate my time, efforts, energy, blood, sweat, and tears to. If given the honor to be your delegate, I will protect your rights and interest in the General Assembly. I will represent and protect you with the very same passion and dedication I have provided to our country and state for over 10 years and counting.

I believe that all schools should be treated and funded equally and teachers pay increased. I will fight to bring public transportation and better roadways to the district. I will fight tooth and nail for equal pay for women, women’s rights, and to raise the minimum wage. I will work tirelessly to improve re-entry for returning citizens and decrease recidivism while demanding criminal justice reform. I will listen to those who are ignored, bring forth legislation to treat those citizens fighting addiction, and provide options for treatment and not confinement, as well as improving mental health services. I will work for and answer to the community, YOU the people. I want to accomplish these goals for you because I am you, and Together We Can! I thank you for supporting my campaign.
